Aungban Town is located just 10km away from Kalaw. The town is very important, especially to farmers because it is a meeting place of Pindaya, Kalaw, Taunggyi. Green paddy fields and red soil farms surround this pretty town. You can also easily and conveniently access some sites such as Pindaya Cave, Heho Airport, Kalaw, Hill-station town, Taunggyi, Inle Lake, etc. Due to its location, alot of trading centers are set up here to collect regional fruits and vegetables, then they send these produces to other towns by trucks or trains
