In the early morning, we transfer to the Nanthida Jetty to board a ferry to cross the Yangon River to Dhala. Then, we start a half day of discovering Dhala's highlights. By a boat sailing along the River, we can observe the colorful street market where the locals bring their wares to exchange with each other. Upon arrival in Dhala, we shift into a local trishaw to travel around the town. Going indise, we can see another market which has some similarities with the former. Let's take a talk with the local people to get more knowledge about their life. It doesn't take a long time for you to realize that these charming people extend their hospitality with enormous smiles. In spite of lacking home comfort, the people here are already to help each other, especially tourists.
After a visit to the village and market, we head to a monastery to learn about the monk life. Being different with the life outside, the monks live and do everything in order. Everyday, they do worship and pray for the people's happiness. It can be said that the monk play an important role in culture and custom of the Burmese.
In the late afternoon, we return to Yangon. On the way, we have a great chance to explore the life along river and its scenic beauty.
