Fly to Heho, land in Nyaung Shwe jetty, check-in, go sight-seeing, visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Kyaung monastery, Inpawkhon village and a local market
After breakfast at the hotel, take morning flight to Heho. On arrival, transfer to Nyaung Shwe jetty with boat transfer to hotel. Check-in to the hotel and commence sightseeing around Inle Lake by boat. Witness the famous single-leg canoe rowing; traditional fishing way; floating gardens; simple village life and breath-taking sceneries. Also visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, one of the main principle shrines in Myanmar, dating back to the 18th century; Nga Phe Kyaung monastery, famous for its jumping cats trained by monks; the weaving village of Inpawkhon; a local market in the region (if open). On arrival, transfer to Amarapura; visit Mahagandayon monastery, housing over thousand of monks; visit the Myanmar traditional Hand-Woven silk workshop; a quick visit to the U Bein bridge built over centuries ago, and longest wooden bridge in Asia. Return to Mandalay by noon, afternoon sightseeing includes Kyauktawgyi Pagoda a large Buddha statue carved out of a single block of marble; Shwenandaw (Golden Palace) monastery for its exquisite wood carving; Kuthodaw Pagoda where the world's biggest book, the full Buddhist scriptures were carved in stone plaques individually placed in tomb-like structures.
